NCi Small Charity Insurance Eligibility - Statements of Fact

In order to be eligible for this insurance, you must be able to confirm that the following statements are true.

Any inaccuracy or error may render the policy voidable by us.  If you are in any doubt whether these statements are applicable to you, or if there are other facts which you think may be relevant, these should be discussed with your insurance advisor before submitting this form. 
 

These statements form part of, and are the basis for the contract.

Your organisation:

• is based in the UK (including the Channel Islands and Isle of Man)

• does not undertake any work or visits abroad

• has less than 100 members

• has not sustained any loss or incurred any liability within the last 3 years which would have been insured had a Starter Connect policy been in force

• has not been declined insurance or had special conditions required

None of your organisation’s principals (e.g. trustees, directors, partners, management committee etc) have:

• ever been convicted, charged with, or received a caution for a criminal offence other than motoring offences

• ever been declared bankrupt

• any unsatisfied County Court Judgement against them

Your organisation’s gross:

• annual income / turnover does not exceed £10,000

• assets do not exceed £25,000

You are not involved in the provision, management or operation of any:

• activity centre

• medical, nursing or domicillary care service

• alcohol or tobacco sale or supply services

• medical, surgical, dental, pharmaceutical or therapeutic product supply or sales

• animal rights, welfare or rescue activities

• meetings for the sole purpose of religious worship

• employment agency or the supply and / or placement of volunteers

• political, lobbying or activist group

• event organised on behalf of any third party

• residents association 

NCi Small Charity Insurance - Important Information regarding Abuse Cover

The Starter Connect policy available from NCi Charity provides a ‘basic’ Public and Products liability cover for charities, voluntary and not-for-profit organisations.
 
There is no cover in this contract for claims made against you for an actual or alleged Abuse either physical and psychological.
